Culturally, Puerto Rico has a long and rich heritage in musical, visual and performing arts. San Juan is home to an international airport, and as Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the United States neither passports nor visas are required of US citizens who wish to visit the island. The currency used is the US Dollar with both Spanish and English serving as official languages.
